LA. Republican Assembly Hosts First Meeting
New Grassroots Powerhouse Unveils Agenda In Baton Rouge
Since the infamous Presidential Selection of 2020 a growing group of Louisiana patriots have been coalescing around the election integrity issue and learning the ropes of legislative and grassroots politics. Those seeds planted over the past few years are now beginning to sprout, with one of the biggest being the formation of The Louisiana Republican Assembly (LRA) which held its inaugural meeting on Tuesday, January 23rd in Baton Rouge.
The National Federation Of Republican Assemblies is a nationwide organization with individual state chapters which now counts Louisiana as its 25th officially chartered group. The NFRA’s roots go back to the 1930s in California and they model themselves as Anti-RINO, Reaganesque Conservatives. In fact, President Reagan once dubbed them “The conscience of the Republican Party”.
Among the leadership for the new Louisiana chapter are names that might be familiar to you such as Christy Haik, Dr. Randy Russ, John Scanlan and Susan Benoit. The organization unveiled their agenda on Tuesday which will include the formation of regional chapters, including a metro Baton Rouge chapter that will be led by none other than recent Secretary of State Candidate Brandon Trosclair.
LRA will also put a strong emphasis on grassroots development and of course on legislation. In fact, the meeting saw the introduction of a flagship election integrity resolution that we urge everyone to support in the coming legislative session. Christopher Alexander, the leader of Louisiana Citizens Advocacy Group (LACAG) and friend of LRA presented the resolution which will be modeled on other state’s efforts and will propose the following: 1. Election hardware and software will be made in America. 2. Election vendor ownership must be made known to the public. 3. Election records must be made available to the public within 24 hours. 4. Vote tabulation code and data must be made available to the public.

There is a lot in store from our state’s newest grassroots group and we encourage you to get involved. And of course, we congratulate The Louisiana Republican Assembly on their inaugural meeting!
